CONSENT AGENDA

A consent agenda is a list of business items that require actions but not necessarily discussion. The consent agenda is used to expedite the routine business so that there will be more time for presentation and discussion of the non-routine issues. The consent items may all be approved at the same time by majority vote or general consent. When the consent agenda is presented, any voting member may ask that any listed item be removed from the consent agenda. That item is then placed on the regular agenda and handled in the usual way.
