Chairman’s Invitation

Chairman’s Invitation

It is my honor to invite you to participate in our Annual Meeting of Members on June 25-26, 2004. During the meeting, we will review the Society’s achievements and challenges during this past year as well as examine our plans for the future. I encourage you to attend so that you will be informed firsthand on the issues facing our profession in Texas.

Our meeting will be held at the Westin Stonebriar Resort & Spa, which is located just north of Dallas in Frisco, Texas. This beautiful resort offers the finest in accommodations and is just a short drive from a variety of shopping, dining and entertainment venues.

I hope that you will participate in our Silent Auction benefiting the scholarship fund for the Accounting Education Foundation. Members from across the state are contributing items that showcase either their personal talents or are representative of their chapter. Last year’s auction raised a substantial amount of money for accounting scholarships. The bidding was fiercely competitive, and the event was immensely entertaining.

If you have questions regarding the meeting arrangements, call Judy Neathery at 972/687-8535 or contact her by e-mail at jneathery@tscpa.net .

Don’t miss this opportunity to have a voice in the direction of your Society.

Bob and I look forward to seeing you in Frisco.

Nita J. Clyde, Ph.D, CPA

Chairman, 2003-04
